Join the Oklahoma Chapter of the Sierra Club for an evening of local food, local drinks, and local music, while learning about Sierra Club activities and pressing environmental issues in Oklahoma! A screening of the short documentary "In the Air We Breathe" will be shown, highlighting the public health & environmental impacts of coal ash in Oklahoma. Musical guest "Sharktooth", local foods provided by Native Roots Market and drinks provided by Coach's Brewhouse.

The Tulsa United Film festival is returning for it's eighth year, July 29th through August 1st at the Circle cinema in Tulsa.
We are proud to once again be hosting a fantastic series of screenings. It all kicks off Thursday July 29th at 7:00 PM at Joe Momma's with a pizza party and free movie screening. Over the course of the weekend we will be screening features to make you laugh and cry, short films by seasoned professionals and budding amateurs, and documentaries on the dangers of bottled water, the inspiring life of Wayman Tisdale, the wild world of low budget sports car racing, and a local legend, Biker Fox.
The festival's focus is to bring together talented filmmakers from diverse backgrounds, thus creating a "United" showcase of creative energy and talent. The Performing Arts Studio presents Dixie Erickson's exhibit "Instrumental Art" through July 29 at the Santa Fe Depot in downtown Norman. The Norman artist's visual collection of banjos was inspired by an instrument she rescued from her father-in-law's attic.

Jean Ann Van Krevelen will be signing her book "Grocery Gardening" Wednesday, July 30th at the Full Circle Bookstore. "Grocery Gardening" includes garden planning, planting, and nutritional information for more than 20 selected edibles. The signing lasts from 6:30 to 8pm.

The Quartz Mountain Music Festival (QMMF) Academies take place in the beautiful Quartz Mountain region of Southwest Oklahoma. The Chamber Music and Orchestral Academies will occur at Western Oklahoma State College. And, the Celedonio Romero Guitar Academy will occur at the Granite High School. The festival concerts will take place at the spectacular Robert M. Kerr Performing Arts Center at the Quartz Mountain State Park and Western Oklahoma State College.

| Contemporary Realism Paintings by Tracey Harris, Eric Stevens, Leslie Lineau, and James Smith as well as Ceramic Sculptures by H | Friday July 30 |
"Contemporary Realism Paintings by Tracey Harris, Eric Stevens, Leslie Lineau, and James Smith as well as Ceramic Sculptures by Harolyn Long" is the July exhibit at JRB Art at The Elms. This work will showcase the work of four artists who specialize in contemporary representational painting. The body of work that Tracey Harris has prepared for this show is primarily figurative, while Eric Stevens has painted a series of landscapes. Leslie Lineau and James Smith will be exhibiting still life paintings. While the subject matter and styles of these artists are different, all the work produced by the four artists closely resembles forms and subjects that can be found in the natural world. In contrast, the sculptural work of Harolyn Long that will be shown in the Ship Gallery is abstract in nature. The exhibit runs through July 30

Join Oklahoma River Cruises on their “History Comes Alive” Cruises are each Saturday, and run through August 21. The “History Comes Alive” series depicts history through historical reenactments. The boats depart from Regatta Park Landing at noon and at 12:45 PM from Exchange Landing to Regatta Park.
