| Paseo Arts District: heARTS for HAITI (Philanthropic Art Show & Live Music) | Friday September 3 |
Paseo's Sauced Annex presents "heARTS for HAITI" a Philanthropic Art Sale and Concert September 3 at 6 p.m. featuring various local artists and musicians (including: Zach Winters, Sue Moss Sullivan, Brian Payne, Rebekah Ray). This event is a grassroots initiative of OUHSC students, OU Alumni, and the local arts community to raise funds for an indigenous clinic in Haiti called, Partners In Health (PIH). Many 6-month reports regarding the relief efforts in Haiti indicate that there is still tremendous unmet need in Haiti.

University of Oklahoma School of Music American Organ Institute presents the Boggess Artist Concert Series with a concert by German artist, Christoph Grohmann, organ, at 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3, in Gothic Hall.

| Wanderlust: Travel and American Photography | Sunday September 5 |
The Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art's exhibit "Wanderlust: Travel and American Photography" continues to run through September 12. Since the early 20th century, travel has been an important part of the American experience, especially the family vacations and road trips synonymous with summer vacations. Wanderlust: Travel and American Photography examines the role American highways and interstates have played in the migratory desires of the American people. The exhibition includes photographs from Berenice Abbott’s photo essay of Route 1; the 1981 American Roads portfolio, compiled by Victor Landweber; and Dennis Stock’s James Dean: A Memorial Portfolio, which documents the actor’s final visits to his homes in Indiana and New York.

| Copenhagen, by Michael Frayn | Thursday September 9 |
The subject of Copenhagen is the mysterious meeting between physicists Niels Bohr (Denmark) and Werner Heisenberg (Germany) during WWII. The play touches on moral issues concerning the development of atomic weapons during that time.
The presentation of Copenhagen is being offered to the public as part of the OU Physics Department's Centennial Celebration. It is a collaboration between the Physics and Drama Departments.

The Sunday matinee performance will be followed by a panel discussion of the play by panel members Peter Barker (History of Science), Tom Boyd (Religious Studies), Kae Koger (Drama), Zach Messitte (International Programs), Kim Milton (Physics & Astronomy), and Zev Trachtenberg (Philosophy).

White Belt certification provides a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma techniques and principles through a one day class from 8:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m. at Tinker Business Industrial Park in Midwest City.

Join invertebrate paleontology curator Dr. Steve Westrop and museum staff for an exciting journey into Oklahoma’s Paleozoic past. Explore life in Oklahoma’s ancient oceans through an informative talk on Friday evening with a close-up look at some of the museum’s finest invertebrate specimens. On Saturday morning, we will depart from the museum at 9 a.m. and travel in university vans to the dig site where you will find a variety of marine fossils that you can take home. Bring a sack lunch, snacks, comfortable shoes and plenty of water for this field trip. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. This field trip is for adults only. Cost: members $55 per person, Non-members $65 per person
