| In-Depth: Oklahoma Farm to School Program June 8, 2009 While more Oklahomans are living in urban areas than ever before, the vision of the Oklahoma farmer and rancher is a deep part of the state's identity. | In-Depth: Julius Shulman June 5, 2009 Julius Shulman does not see the world the way most people see it. His heart, brain and eyes become a camera, focused on the inner beauty of modern architecture. This weekend, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art presents the last chance for the public to view the results of Shulman's genius in the exhibit Julius Shulman: Oklahoma Modernism Rediscovered. While best known for his work in Califonia, the exhibition shows a variety of photographs Shulman captured during several trips to Oklahoma.
During a visit to Oklahoma City last year, KGOU News Director Kurt Gwartney talked with Shulman about how he documents the buildings and spaces that have dominated his career. The last call Friday at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art begins at 5 p.m. June 5. But you can take a final look at the photos through June 7 at 5 p.m.

And as temperatures increase and the storms clear out, Oklahoma families will be spending more time outside, increasing the danger for children and water. That's one reason why Harvey Barnett travels the country teaching parents and medical professionals about child drowning and ways to prevent it. The other reason Barnett founded the organization Infant Swimming Resource came much earlier in his life.
