Across Oklahoma, state agencies are bracing for the impact of budget cuts. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is having a particularly difficult time adjusting to the poor economic conditions. The Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester will end its decades-long tradition of the annual prison rodeo, and DOC workers across the state will also be forced to take furlough days.

From the battered black bowler hat of Charlie Chaplin, to Audrey Hepburn’s pencil thin skirt in Funny Face, the costumes worn in the movies evoke meaning and memories. As KGOU’s Kurt Gwartney reports, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art has put together a one-of-a-kind collection of Hollywood’s most famous clothing called Sketch to Screen that you can see starting May 6.
