Analysis Of The Gubernatorial Debate By eCapitol

Talking to OETA Managing Editor, Dick Pryor, e-Capitol News Director reviews the gubernatorial debate and previews some of the more interesting state senate races in this year’s general election.

Ashley thinks that Mary Fallin is focusing on what she has done the last four years while Dorman is criticizing Fallin’s records. He adds that each candidate stuck to their general talking points, and each candidate’s followers are claiming victory.

Ashley also is looking at Senate campaigns in Districts 6 and 44 where the seats were previously held by Democrats, but now are held by Republican incumbents. But in each race, there are strong Democratic candidates, but there is also an Independent candidates that Ashley says usually take votes away from the Republican candidate.
