KGOU Celebrates #NationalRadioDay By Opening Our Studios On Saturday, August 20

KGOU is celebrating National Radio Day, and we'd love to see you and the rest of our audience during our studio open house.

We'll be here from noon to 3 p.m. with studio tours, giveaways, interactive presentations by the news staff, and a live performance by The Royal Jelly.

Stop by anytime - here's what we'll be doing and when:

  • 12:15 p.m.: News presentation TBD
  • 1:06 p.m.: The Royal Jelly opens The Weekend Blues
  • 1:15 p.m.: News presentation TBD
  • 1:50 p.m.: The Royal Jelly closes the first hour of The Weekend Blues.
  • 2:06 p.m.: The Royal Jelly opens the second hour of The Weekend Blues
  • 2:15 p.m.: News presentation TBD
  • 2:40 p.m.: "Hardluck" Jim interviews The Royal Jelly as they debut a new song to the public.

Parking is available in the Dale Hall lot on the University of Oklahoma campus (northeast of the intersection of Elm Ave. and Lindsey Street. The Lindsey Street exit off Interstate 35 is closed, and Lindsey Street is closed between Berry Road and Pickard Ave.
