Make KGOU Your NPR Source

This is the Manager’s Minute.

KGOU can be heard anytime practically anywhere in the world through mobile apps such as TuneIn Radio, Apple Music and NPR One, on Smart Speakers, and through online streaming at www.kgou.org.

Our mobile and online audience is growing, but we still reach most of our listeners over the air.

We have more than 80,000 weekly listeners in the Oklahoma City metro area alone.

Our studio is located at the University of Oklahoma.

KGOU broadcasts from eight cities – Oklahoma City, Norman, Woodward, Ada, Clinton, Shawnee, Seminole and Chickasha – and serves scores of towns and cities in between. KGOU reaches 32 counties in Oklahoma and over one million people.

Wherever you live, we hope you’ll make KGOU your NPR source and your go-to station for Oklahoma news, weather, traffic, discussion and entertainment.

Thanks for listening.

Until next time, with the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.

Dick Pryor has more than 30 years of experience in public service media, having previously served as deputy director, managing editor, news manager, news anchor and host for OETA, Oklahoma’s statewide public TV network. He was named general manager of KGOU Radio in November 2016.
