Hurricane Ivan Brings High-Speed Winds to Coast

Forecasters say Hurricane Ivan could be the most powerful storm to strike the Gulf Coast in decades. The Category 4 hurricane has winds approaching 140 miles an hour. It's moving north through the Gulf of Mexico and should strike the coast near Mobile by early Thursday. Hear NPR's Michele Norris and NPR's Jon Hamilton.
