STASH hosts a vigil as part of July’s 2nd Friday Art Walk, participating in a nation-wide event called “Lights for Liberty,” from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday, July 12th in EDO: East Downtown Norman.
As part of Norman's 2nd Friday Art Walk, families, friends, and kids of all ages are invited to make posters, listen to music and bid on donated art, all to raise funds for immigrant-supportive organizations on the border. Starting at 9 pm at STASH, 412 E Main Street in Norman, hundreds of lanterns will illuminate the word "LOVE" for a silent vigil to bring attention to the plight of immigrants suffering in detention camps. The evening begins with music and a silent art auction with dozens of donated works of art that will raise awareness and funds for immigrant supportive organizations on the border. STASH will donate all funds raised from sales of donated art to Border Angels, and Catholic and Lutheran charities in affected areas.
STASH is partnering with non-profits in affected areas, local faith-based organizations, artists, fellow local businesses, and concerned locals who are committed to life, liberty, and dignity for all human beings.
STASH specializes in American-made, and ethically produced gifts, dry goods, & art. Visit STASH at 412 E. Main St., Norman. For more information, please call the store at (405) 701-1016.
