Scott Ellsworth is a native Tulsan, author and professor of African-American Studies at the University of Michigan. Ellworth's "Death In A Promised Land" was the first scholarly account of the 1921 Tulsa race massacre. His forthcoming book, "The Groundbreaking," tells the story of Tulsa and the Greenwood district since the massacre.
Elsworth's February 23rd lecture/livestream will focus on the history and legacies of this historic event.
