ST AUGUSTINE, FL - AUGUST 28: Erin Beazzo and her daughter, Fionna Beazzo, leave after she voted at a polling station on Florida primary election day.

On Tuesday, voters in Florida, Arizona, and Oklahoma headed to the polls to select nominees for Senate and gubernatorial races.

Standout victories include Andrew Gillum, D-FL, who secured the nomination for governor in an upset victory over Gwen Graham, and Rep. Martha McSally, R-AZ, who won to replace Senator Jeff Flake.

Here‘s a comprehensive look at Tuesday’s results. And here are four takeaways from Tuesday’s primaries, courtesy of The New York Times.

We’ll discuss these results, as well as how things might play out in the midterms.
