Thank You For Supporting KGOU On Giving Tuesday Now

KGOU General Manager Dick Pryor

This is the Manager’s Minute. These are challenging economic times, so we especially appreciate the recent donations KGOU has received to support our work.

KGOU’s Giving Tuesday Now fundraiser brought in more than $40,000, which activated matching funds from a group of generous and loyal donors who also believe in KGOU’s mission of public service journalism.

More than 300 donors chipped in, including dozens of new contributors, and more than 100 provided extra gifts. If you haven’t yet given, there’s still time. We appreciate any additional donations, and are always thankful for the vote of confidence each listener gift communicates.

KGOU is a listener supported service, and every dollar helps us maintain the programs you and your community rely on, every day - especially in times like these.

Again, thanks for supporting KGOU – Your NPR Source. Until next time, with the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.

Dick Pryor has more than 30 years of experience in public service media, having previously served as deputy director, managing editor, news manager, news anchor and host for OETA, Oklahoma’s statewide public TV network. He was named general manager of KGOU Radio in November 2016.
