This is the Manager’s Minute.

As we begin October, KGOU’s program schedule is taking on a slightly different look.

The popular How Curious segments are returning, as Katelyn Howard explores oddities, myths and legends in our state.

Weekday mornings at 5:00 we’re adding Asian View, featuring the latest news from Japan and the rest of Asia.

On Saturdays, we’re moving Freakonomics Radio to 11:00 a.m. and This American Life to noon.

After nine years on the air, Ask Me Another is ceasing production, so after evaluating several factors, including a listener programming survey, we’re replacing that show on Saturday evenings with Travel with Rick Steves. We think listeners will enjoy going along on Rick’s journeys - leading into our international music shows.

Taking the place of Ask Me Another on Sunday morning is Throughline, a new program that examines today’s news through the perspective of history.

We hope you enjoy these changes. Thanks for listening.

With the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
