As the state races to execute a historic number of inmates on death row over the next two years, Oklahoma’s process for carrying out capital punishment remains cloaked in secrecy. But Father Bryan Brooks, who has witnessed four executions and prayed outside of the state penitentiary during at least 100 more, sheds light on the process and the men killed by the state in the name of justice.
