Boren Says Story Questioning University Of Oklahoma's Integrity A 'Bald-Faced Lie'

University of Oklahoma President David Boren says a recent story questioning the integrity of the university and the Oklahoma Geological Survey is “a bald-faced lie and some of the most inaccurate reporting I’ve ever seen in my life.”

The story, by Mike Soraghan of EnergyWire, said the OGS, which is a state agency administered by the university, waffled on its findings concerning uncharacteristic earthquakes while OU fundraisers pitched a $25 million construction project to billionaire Harold Hamm, founder of Continental Resources.The story was based on emails obtained through an open records request and interviews.
