Even though scientists acknowledge the limits of the study, that won't necessarily limit the political fallout - coming, as it does, on the eve of the presidential election. While the study's authors - both advocates of gun control - say their work supports "greater" regulation, gun control opponents say the study is proof that gun control doesn't work.
