Oklahoma City is bustling with western and family fun this weekend.

The Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association (OCA) invites ranch hands to the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City. The 62nd annual Convention and Trade Show opens Thursday, July 24 and runs through Saturday, July 26.

The three-day conference centers around a two-story trade show where agricultural companies exhibit goods to make farm operations run a bit smoother.

With organizers anticipating more than 1,000 attendees, visitors can browse anything from livestock trailers to drought insurance.

Apart from the trade show, however, the event schedule includes public meetings to set OCA policy for the year ahead and guest lectures by nationally renowned agricultural execs and economists.

Although on-site registration is available, pre-registration is encouraged.

Fittingly, the OCA Convention and Trade Show wraps up on the National Day of the American Cowboy. What would the holiday be without a celebration by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum?
