The FireLake Fireflight Balloon Festival takes to the skies over Shawnee! Presented by Citizen Potawatomi Nation, the FireLake Fireflight Balloon Fest is Oklahoma’s largest hot air balloon festival. Entry is free. The festival features 20 unique hot air balloons, live entertainment, family activities, a 5K fun run, fireworks, and more. Balloon launches start at 7 a.m., and you have a chance to hop in a basket, take a flight, and get a birds’ eye view! On the ground, enjoy food trucks, inflatables, a splash pad, carnival, petting zoo, and vendor market. And, don’t miss the Outdoor Nation Expo at nearby FireLake Arena. In the evening, watch the spectacular balloon glow and listen to live music from country star Craig Morgan and other acts such as Vince Van and the Outlaws.
