La Clemenza di Tito
La Clemenza di Tito
Mozart’s opera La Clemenza di Tito unfolds in a world of politics, betrayal, and mercy. With a libretto by Caterino Mazzola after Pietro Metastasio, this production is led by Jonathan Shames and Nicole Kenley-Miller. The story follows the benevolent Emperor Tito as he faces a coup orchestrated by Vitellia, daughter of the former emperor, who manipulates Tito’s loyal friend Sesto into leading the revolt. As the Capitol burns and alliances crumble, Tito must decide whether his reign, and his capacity for forgiveness, can endure. Single tickets go on sale February 4, 2026.
