Mojo’s Blues Festival

Mojo’s Blues Festival
Blues fans are invited to attend the upcoming Mojo’s Blues Festival, scheduled 4 to 11 P.M. Saturday, May 31, in Bricktown.
The event offers free admission, more than a dozen live blues acts from around the state and local art and food vendors.
The festival will be held in the parking lot outside of Mojo’s Blues Club, located at 1 East California Ave. in Oklahoma City. The event is the first blues festival coordinated by the Blues Society of Oklahoma, a new non-profit organization formed earlier this year.
Hourly stage performances for the evening begin at 4 P.M. and include the Selby Minner Blues Band, Queen Bee and the Stingers, Sweet Brenda and Sour Mash, Vibro Kings and others.
The evening culminates with a 10 P.M. performance by Dirty Red and the Soul Shakers. Acoustic acts will perform between sets on a side stage and include Debbie Henning, Jesse Cahn and others.
A full lineup of the festival is available on the Blues Society of Oklahoma’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BluesSocietyOklahoma.
