Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum

Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum

Celebrate 50 years of history, heritage, and community at the Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum!

Enjoy a day filled with kids' crafts, games, live music, and a special whiskey tasting for adults. Step back in time and explore the rich history of this beloved Victorian home while making new memories with family and friends.

Come raise a glass, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate half a century of preserving the past!

Local band Flowers of Edinburgh, featuring two descendants of the Lindsay family, will perform their special brand of Celtic music with a kick, 1-2pm and 3-4pm.

The Bagpipe Bites food truck will be on site selling Scottish eats and treats, and the Pioneer Library System will be demonstrating tartan weaving on a floor loom. Wendy Newport will emcee the whiskey tastings. We would like to offer a huge THANK YOU to all of these organizations and people for participating, as well as to OEC for generously sponsoring this event!

Event admission is free. Tickets to the whiskey tasting can be purchased online beginning April 15th, or at the door, while supplies last
