Stockyards City St. Patrick's Day Parade

Come to Historic Stockyards City, in Oklahoma City, on Saturday, March 14th for the annual St. Patrick’s Parade! It is a celebration of Oklahoma Irish heritage and the western culture of Stockyards City! This family-friendly event begins at 10:00 a.m. You won't want to miss this!

The parade will be led by the Slash O Ranch Longhorns. You can see St. Patrick, bagpipes, Irish dancers, the Shriners, cool cars, pageant royalty, community groups, equestrian entries and much more.

This year the Grand Marshal will be Margaret “Peg” Malloy. She has long worked to help her community, influenced by her Irish heritage and the story of Catherine Ann “Kate” Barnard, a pioneering social reformer and Oklahoma’s first woman elected to statewide office.

Following the parade hang around for some fun activities for kids. Balloon art, face painting, activities, and games will be held in the grassy area east of Little Joe's Boots. McTeggart's Irish Dancers will be performing at Rodeo Cinema, 2221 Exchange Avenue, at 11 am.

Admission to the event is free. Come to Stockyards City for the St. Pats fun and stay for the day! Visit the shops, have a great meal, and enjoy the authenticity of the area.

The parade route begins at the intersection of Exchange Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, it will head west to Agnew Avenue and then go south to S.W. 15th Street.
