This winter, go wild and fill your holiday season with the magic of light. OKC Zoo's Safari Lights features a light display showcasing wildlife-themed light sculptures viewable on a driving tour through the zoo. Feel the holiday cheer with animated light displays, festive treats, kids activities and photo opportunities. In addition to the drive-thru experience, Safari Lights includes a separate walking experience with interactive light exhibits, musical light performances and lots of other winter magic. Please note that online reservations are required.
Experience the magic of the season at Ardmore’s Festival of Lights in Regional Park. This 1.5-mile drive features over 150 animated displays, making it one of southern Oklahoma’s largest and most dazzling holiday light shows. Enjoy the festive atmosphere from the warmth of your car as you take in the colorful lights and holiday spirit. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted.

Celebrate the holiday season by viewing Christmas trees grown and decorated by Oklahoma Native Tribes during the annual Red Earth Treefest from now until the end of the year. Held in the BancFirst Tower in OKC, this nine-week holiday event at the Red Earth Art Center is open during the regular hours of 10 am to 5 pm and feature Christmas trees covered in handmade ornaments showcasing the many Native cultures of Oklahoma.
Celebrate the holidays at the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink in Mitch Park. Skate under the stars and soak up the festive spirit with family and friends. The rink offers free parking, open skate sessions, concessions, safety helmets, WiFi, and indoor restrooms. Make lasting memories this season at one of Edmond’s favorite holiday traditions.
Lace up your skates for another season of outdoor ice skating at the Devon Ice Rink in Oklahoma City's Myriad Botanical Gardens. This ice rink returns for another festive season from November 2025 through February 2026, offering over 5000 square feet of ice to enjoy.
Holiday Cheer is bringing magic to the museum! This family-friendly celebration is the perfect way to kick off the season, with activities and entertainment for all. Enjoy festive treats, create your own ornaments, listen to live music by local performers, and snap a photo with Frosty and Santa.
