Join us March 28th for a Coffee & Conversation event, focused on planting a pollinator garden! Kaitlin Bacon, Director of Education at Myriad Botanical Gardens, and John Leonard, Mollie Spencer Farm Manager, will discuss how to choose plants for your pollinator garden and how to maintain your garden throughout the season.
Register today to secure your spot! This event involves walking on potentially uneven terrain, so please prepare accordingly!
Teach your little naturalists the joy and wonder of bird watching! We’ll learn about some of Oklahoma’s native birds then head outside to see what birds call the museum grounds home. Binoculars will be provided for use during the program. This program will involve walking outdoors, so please dress accordingly. In the case of unsuitable weather, we will explore indoors, learning about birds in our collections and galleries.
No Kings OKC is a peaceful community demonstration in downtown Oklahoma City where residents will come together to defend democracy and reject authoritarianism. Join neighbors, grassroots organizations, and advocates as we raise our voices for civil rights and government accountability.
The event will include speakers and the opportunity to connect with local organizations working to support social and civic action. Following the rally, participants will march together through the downtown area.
Bring a sign, bring a friend, and stand with fellow Oklahomans committed to democracy, justice, and collective action. Participants are expected to follow principles of nonviolent, lawful protest and help create a safe, respectful space for everyone.
