This winter, go wild and fill your holiday season with the magic of light. OKC Zoo's Safari Lights features a light display showcasing wildlife-themed light sculptures viewable on a driving tour through the zoo. Feel the holiday cheer with animated light displays, festive treats, kids activities and photo opportunities. In addition to the drive-thru experience, Safari Lights includes a separate walking experience with interactive light exhibits, musical light performances and lots of other winter magic. Experience the magic of the season at Ardmore’s Festival of Lights in Regional Park. This 1.5-mile drive features over 150 animated displays, making it one of southern Oklahoma’s largest and most dazzling holiday light shows. Enjoy the festive atmosphere from the warmth of your car as you take in the colorful lights and holiday spirit. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted.

Celebrate the holiday season by viewing Christmas trees grown and decorated by Oklahoma Native Tribes during the annual Red Earth Treefest from now until the end of the year. Held in the BancFirst Tower in OKC, this nine-week holiday event at the Red Earth Art Center is open during the regular hours of 10 am to 5 pm and feature Christmas trees covered in handmade ornaments showcasing the many Native cultures of Oklahoma.
