The Oklahoma State Department of Health has confirmed a case of measles in Stillwater and says others may have been exposed.
The department said Friday this is the first confirmed case of measles inOklahoma since 1997.
The infected person is an international traveler married to an Oklahoma State University student and lives off campus.
The department says others may have been exposed from March 13-19 at Aldi on North Perkins; Crepe Myrtle Market on Lewis; Food Pyramid on North Main; Boba Fusion Café on North Perkins; China Wok on North Perkins; Jimmy's Egg on West 6th; and University Health Services.
Persons who believe they may have been exposed should contact their local county health department. Those who received two doses of the measles vaccine after their first birthday are protected.
