KGOU Program Director / Host of The Weekend BluesJim is a journalism/mass communications graduate from the University of Oklahoma who has been a life-long radio listener and enthusiast.
While still a student, Jim earned the moniker ‘Hardluck’ while serving as host of what is now The Weekend Blues. He currently serves as KGOU’s Operations/Program Director where he supervises all aspects of KGOU’s on-air programming output.
Jim has a passion for music and shining a proverbial spotlight on Oklahoma’s many talented musical artists and those who endeavor to do the same. His numerous broadcasting awards, related affiliations and accolades over the years attest to this commitment.
