Oklahoma law officers have been awarded a $217,400 federal grant to help fight the ongoing battle against methamphetamine use throughout the state.
Oklahoma is among 10 states to receive the federal money.
Part of the grant will be used by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics to host two Oklahoma drug-endangered children training courses that will address children frequently found living in meth homes.
The agency will also use the grant money for a training and certification course for federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement personnel who respond to meth labs.
