Gasoline Prices Keep Moving Higher
Prices at the pump jumped 18 cents over the last couple weeks which is the biggest increase so far this year. The Lundberg Survey shows that heading into the weekend, the national average price of a gallon of self-serve was $3.69. Analysts say the spike is in part because of some refinery and pipeline issues across the country.

Analysts See Shift In U.S. Response To Syrian Conflict
Secretary of State John Kerry's visit to the Middle East last week marked a small but, some believe, significant shift in American policy on Syria. On the surface, the U.S. has announced it is stepping up aid to the Syrian opposition and its armed wing. But look closely, analysts say, and you'll see that the U.S. is more willing to tip the scales against the Syrian regime.

Gas Prices Dip For First Time In 2013
On Sunday, the Lundberg Survey reported gasoline prices fell more than 5.5 cents a gallon. That may not sound like a whole lot, but it's the first price drop all year.

Mass Transit Ridership At Highest Level In Decades
There were some 10.5 billion trips taken across the nation on mass transit last year, the second-highest number since 1957, according to the American Public Transportation Association, which keeps track of how many people ride buses, trains, subways and ferries.
