'Persepolis' Strikes a Chord with Young Iranians
Persepolis, an animated film about growing up in post-revolutionary Iran, was nominated for an Oscar this year. The movie's critical attitude toward the Iranian revolution and the Islamic republic led Iran's government to denounce it. Many who have watched the movie say they identify with the film's main character.

Five Media Groups Settle with Wen Ho Lee
Five news organizations have agreed to a $750,000 payment to settle a lawsuit by former government scientist Wen Ho Lee. Media watch organizations call the development troubling, since Lee did not sue for libel, but rather for violation of privacy.

A Menagerie of Matisses? Zoos Sell Animal Art
Several zoos across the country now sell paintings done by animals. The Houston Zoo, for example, offers a $500 experience, in which you can sit and watch an orangutan make a painting just for you. Gigi Allianic, spokeswoman for Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo, talks about animal art.
