KGOU's News Director Jacob McCleland spent the day surveying and reporting on the damage and recording his observations after Wednesday night's and Thursday morning's devastating tornadoes and flooding that killed one person and injured dozens more.
He started his day in Norman at one of the hardest-hit intersections, 36th Ave. NW and Tecumseh Road, where power lines were bent at 45-degree angles, and a local bank was heavily damaged. He traveled north to SE 44th Street and Interstate 35 in Oklahoma City, the site of some of the heaviest damage, and is on his way to Bridge Creek and Blanchard this afternoon.
