The National Weather Service forecasts a variety of dangerous weather conditions across Oklahoma into Monday.
Blizzard and winter storm warnings remain in effect until 6 p.m. Monday for much of western and north central Oklahoma, respectively. Freezing rain and sleet across much of western Oklahoma will change to snow this afternoon. Strong winds and heavy snowfall amounts will create near blizzard-like conditions.
A mix of freezing rain, sleet and ice is likely across much of central Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City metro. The cold temperatures and strong winds, will lead to icing and conditions that will likely cause extensive tree damage and power outages.
Heavy rainfall will continue over south central and southeast Oklahoma through the evening. A flash flood watch remains in effect through tonight for much of the southeast quarter of the state. Strong storms could be possible across far southeast Oklahoma.
