The Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s (CPN) FireLake Fireflight Balloon Fest is returning to Shawnee Aug. 9-10, 2024.

Country music artist Cam Allen is headlining the annual Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN) FireLake Fireflight Balloon Festival on Saturday, Aug. 10

The annual hot air balloon festival offers entertainment for the entire family to enjoy, including a 5K race, balloon glows, youth carnival rides, live music, a petting zoo and splash pad and more.

Lawn chairs and blankets are not provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own for enjoying balloon glows, live music, and the drone show in comfort.

Admission to the festival is free, including parking, drone show and live entertainment. Guests are encouraged to bring cash for the vendor market, food trucks, tethered rides ($20) and kids’ activities ($10 wristband). There is one ATM on site.
