Please join us for an evening of prison and justice writing highlighting work from Emergence, a collection of essays, fiction, and poetry by eleven writers who were incarcerated at Joseph Harp Correctional Center in Lexington, Oklahoma. Volunteers who work with the Writers Guild will read from the anthology, which will be available for purchase, and some of the writers who have since been released will be there to read their work too. We’ll begin the evening with an open mike for pieces related to prison and justice writing.
