Sound Foundations for Musicians is designed for songwriters, bedroom composers, engineers, and bands who want to better understand how their recordings translate.
This workshop explores room acoustics, practical theory for gear selection, microphone types and placement, signal chains, and strategies for capturing a strong mix during the recording session. Participants will also examine mixing fundamentals, in depth dynamic processing (not just compressors), and modern loudness standards.
The session concludes with an open Q&A for practical problem-solving and project-specific questions.
