OU School of Musical Theatre's presents Stephen Sondheim's ASSASSINS as part of its "Downtown Series" November 17 through 19. This production will be presented "in-the-round" at the Sooner Theatre Studio.

A journey through the dark side of the American dream, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Tony-winning musical Assassins explores the lives of nine men and women who either killed (or tried to kill) one of the Presidents of the United States. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, the musical takes us on a nightmarish roller coaster ride in which assassins and would-be assassins from different historical periods meet, interact and inspire each other to harrowing acts in the name of the American Dream.
