Pop-Up Nature Center: Pollinators!

Pop-Up Nature Center: Pollinators!
Celebrate Biodiversity Month with Edmond Parks and Recreation!
This month we will be setting up at the Oklahoma Native Plant Network's Fall Native Plant Festival at Mitch Park! We will be sharing information about pollinators, we will make seed bombs, there will be a fun flapping butterfly craft station, and so much more! You can stop by anytime between 11am-3pm for this come-and-go program.
► Learn about the pollinators in your community, and ways to support them!
► Make seed bombs with us (while supplies last).
► Pick up a Nature Journal and Activity Book to use the next time you go exploring!
► If the monarch migration timing works out, we will have monarch tagging demonstrations multiple times during this pop-up.
►During the month of September there is a virtual BioBlitz event at Mitch Park.
► There will be a lot to do at the Fall Native Plant Festival; there will be educators sharing information in scheduled talks, plant vendors with many native plants available for sale, and demonstrations for planting in certain types of landscapes.
