Pop-Up Nature Center: Wetlands at Route 66 Softball Complex
Immerse yourself into the fascinating world of wetlands with this month's Pop-Up Nature Center! Guest instructor Darrin from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation will be sharing information and leading some fun activities...
► Explore the vital role wetlands play in our ecosystem through fun, hands-on games; participants can pretend to be bottom feeders and insect eaters, discovering more about the creatures that live in these unique habitats and learning more about the intricate roles wetlands play in our ecosystem as a whole.
► Borrow a book to enjoy in our reading area. Each month we feature books related to the topic we're learning about!
► Pick up a nature journal and activity book to continue exploring and learning after this program.
- We will be meeting at the Route 66 Softball Complex. Look for the Edmond Parks and Recreation Canopy when you arrive!
- We will be outside, so be sure to dress weather-appropriately and to bring drinking water and snacks for your group.
- Please register each person attending - this helps our instructors provide enough materials for everyone!
- Be sure to bring chairs and/or a picnic blanket if you would like to sit on something other than the ground.
