The Oklahoma Nutcracker has been presented annually, drawing statewide audiences, since its premiere in 2002. Selections from this holiday favorite will be performed in "The Oklahoma Nutcracker in One Act!" on Sunday, December 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Norman Public Schools' Nancy O'Brien Center for the Performing Arts, 1809 Stubbeman Ave. in Norman.

Celebrating Oklahoma's natural treasures and history, The Oklahoma Nutcracker is performed to the Tchaikovsky score, and preserves the story line of the traditional Nutcracker ballet. This special performance will showcase Norman Ballet Company's youth dancers in a professional production and will feature your favorite characters, including the dancing Snowflakes, Sand Plum Fairy, Chili Pepper, King Snake, and Cowgirls!
