This OKC StorySLAM is the place to share your stories about art you have experienced or created (including the mess and chaos you made during the process). Whether it's musical, theatrical, sculptural, digital, or the written word -- come tell your story about how art has influenced your life.
Founded in 2005, the OKC StorySLAM is a regular community open-mic storytelling event that’s open to all 21+ folks. Stories must be 7 minutes or less, somehow linked to the theme of “Work of Art”, true, and told without notes.
The audience will vote for their favorite stories of the night, and winners will be awarded amazing handmade trophies...original Works of Art!
