It is Jazz in June season in Norman and the festival is ready to go. There is a Jazz Jam this Friday night, June 10th at the Depot in Norman, starting at 6pm. The Zac Lee Quartet is the host band.
The concerts and clinics will be June 16th through the 18th. Clinics are Thursday and Friday at the Norman Library West, and on Saturday at the Depot. The concerts are Thursday and Friday night at Brookhaven Village, and Saturday night at Andrews Park.
Some of the groups performing are Shelly Phelps, John Cleary, the Airmen of Note, Beto and the Fairlanes, Harumph, Roxy Roca and Kung Fu.
KGOU is a partner in Jazz in June, and KGOU will host a booth at the concerts. Stop by to tell the staff what’s on your mind, and register for some giveaways.
