This is from the Manager's Desk. It is a busy time at KGOU so I want to highlight a couple of things this week.
First, don't forget that the Jazz in June concerts and clincis run this Thursday through Friday. Come visit us at the KGOU booth at the concerts.
We have upgraded the Events Calendar. It is now easier to read, easier to submit events, easier to search and it adjusts to your smart phone or tablet. The events calendar is a free service so be sure to submit your non-profit's events and activities online! Once listed online, KGOU staff can use the information for broadcast.
KGOU has received more recognition at the Oklahoma Press Association Broadcasters luncheon. KGOU received 22 awards, including the Sweepstakes Award presented to the most recognized radio station. The work of Jacob McCleland, Kate Carlton Greer and Brian Hardzinski were recognized.
And because KGOU staff do such great work, you have been better served. KGOU's fiscal year ends in under three weeks. Please make your donation now online to maintain and expand KGOU's service to you.
