There are a few tickets left for the Oklahoma City performance of the Capitol Steps, this Saturday at 8pm at the OCCC Performing Arts Center. There’s a link to the tickets on the KGOU web page, and I hope to see you in the audience.
I had a question from a listener, and realized I should talk more “underwriting.” This is when a business or individual makes a financial gift to KGOU and receives an on-air acknowledgement or web page display ad.
There are two reasons. The first is transparency – the FCC requires us to disclose KGOU’s funding sources so you know from where the money comes. And we want to say thanks, and as a result donors use on-air acknowledgments as part of their marketing plans.
