An Oklahoma judge says a teenager accused of raping a former high school classmate cannot contact any potential witnesses.

Tristen KoleKillman-Hardin appeared in court Wednesday. He is accused of assaulting a 16-year-old Norman High School student police say was intoxicated and incapable of giving consent.

A judge entered a not-guilty plea on Killman-Hardin's behalf, set bail at $150,000 and ordered the 18-year-old to avoid anyone connected to the case.

Killman-Hardin said he didn't know whether his mother had hired a lawyer. The judge gave him instructions on how to obtain a court-appointed attorney.

The alleged rape and subsequent alleged bullying at school triggered protests last week as students complained the administration mishandled the accusations.

A preliminary hearing conference was set for Dec. 16.
