KGOU

This is the Manager’s Minute.

Over the air, terrestrial radio is the most popular way KGOU’s listeners hear us. Many listen while commuting to and from work. The numbers, though, have been shifting.

KGOU broadcasts stretch across 36 Oklahoma counties, but growing numbers of people are listening to KGOU through mobile apps, smart speakers and online streaming at www.kgou.org.

A lot of people don’t realize it, but they carry a radio with them every day – it’s their smart phone. We deliver KGOU programs in different ways, so you can listen how you want, when you want over what I like to call our worldwide transmitter.

So, we encourage you to make KGOU your mobile companion – Your NPR Source and favorite station for local news, information, weather and more - wherever you are.

Learn about our mobile options at www.kgou.org.

Thanks for listening.

With the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
