The Asia Society of Oklahoma will host the 35th annual “Asian Festival” on Saturday, May 06, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM at the Mayfair Church of Christ, 2340 N.W. 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73112. The Asian Festival is open to the public.

The Host Country for Asian Festival 2023 is all ten country associations. This annual event will include numerous performances including Entertainment Demo, art exhibitions, crafts and activities from ten Asian associations. The “Asian Festival” provides a great opportunity for Asian people in Oklahoma to display their cultures for the entire community to enjoy. “We encourage Oklahomans of all backgrounds to witness the incredible colors, choreography, artwork and music of the Asian cultures.”

In addition to the many cultural performances, a major highlight is the crowning of Miss Asia, Teen Miss Asia, Junior Miss Asia and Little Miss Asia. Contestants from throughout the state compete in several categories for the coveted title, giving them the honor of representing the Asia Society in community events throughout the year. A scholarship is also provided at the Awards for Excellence Banquet.

The Asia Society of Oklahoma is a non-profit organization representing ten Asian countries. It strives to provide educational opportunities for Oklahoma residents of Asian descent and programs for those interested in learning about Asian cultures, to promote Asian art and heritage and to foster a deeper sense of community among Asian societies.
