Blue Light Tree Ceremony

Blue Light Tree Ceremony

Norman will honor victims of child abuse and neglect in Cleveland County with the annual Blue Light ceremony beginning at 7 PM. The event acknowledges the prevalence of child abuse and neglect, and culminates with the illumination of the Blue Light Tree, where each individual light represents a documented case of child abuse or neglect in Cleveland county. This event serves as the official kickoff for National Child Abuse Prevention Month, highlighting our collective responsibility to protect and support our community's children. The event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. Representatives from local non-profits will be on-site to share information about their prevention efforts and how citizens can support their missions
