Secret Oklahoma: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure book signing with Matt Kirouac
On Friday, September 26, at 6 p.m., the Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library will host a book signing with travel writer Matt Kirouac. His most recent publication, Secret Oklahoma: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure focuses on Oklahoma’s lesser-known features.
Matt Kirouac is an Oklahoma City transplant after two and a half years of RV living. He is an award-winning travel, culture, and food writer, with bylines in Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, National Geographic, AFAR, Thrillist, InsideHook, Midwest Living, and other publications. Kirouac also serves as the senior dining writer at 405 Magazine, and in 2023, was given a Hometown Hero award by Visit OKC. He is the author of Unique Eats & Eateries of Chicago and Secret Oklahoma, both published by Reedy Press, and currently serves as communications chair for Oklahoma’s largest, Oscar-qualifying film festival, deadCenter Film.
