This is the Manager’s Minute.
This time of year we give thanks for our families, friends and people who have helped us along the way.
And so it is at KGOU.
It takes more than microphones, computers and transmitters.
It takes our staff and administration who raise and manage the money, cover the stories, buy the programs, handle legal compliance, do promotion, purchase and maintain the equipment and operate the office to bring KGOU’s programs and services to you.
Yes, it takes a lot of dedicated people to make this public media service go. And, it takes you.
So, all of us at KGOU and StateImpact Oklahoma want to say a special thank you to our friends, members and listeners and the businesses and organizations who sponsor our programs.
We’re here to serve you with top-notch news, discussion and entertainment programming.
And, it’s because of you – our supporters – that we can deliver this window into the world, 24-7, 365 days a year.
Thanks.
Until next time, with the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
