KGOU And NPR Celebrating 50 Years

This is the Manager’s Minute.

NPR is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and KGOU is celebrating, too. We’re now in our fiftieth year and will celebrate 51 years on the air in September.

That's hundreds of thousands of hours of news, information and entertainment delivered to the KGOU audience since we went on the air at 106.3 FM in 1970. And, since 1983, KGOU has brought NPR to Oklahoma.

That's a lot of news, discussion, music and laughs.

Whether you've been listening for less than a year, or all 50, we'd like your input on our programs and service. Take our brief survey and let your voice be heard. Just to go to KGOU.ORG,  click on “Send me the Survey” and we’ll deliver it right to your email inbox.

Keep listening for 50th anniversary activities and events over the next few months.

Thanks.
